As the 2012 Festival comes to a close, Fontana invites two of the newest faculty members at the University of Notre Dame to join hometown favorites to perform Schubert’s beloved Trout Quintet. The Trout Quintet came to be very influential on other Romantic composers, including Chopin, and with lush piano works from Debussy, along with the colorful second violin sonata by Ravel, this beautiful program will bring the Summer Festival to a close in a feast of local talent.
